Vishnu Deshpande is the patriarch of a conservative middle class Indian family. He is a professor of zoology and also deeply closeted, a married man for 22 years. However, he is hardly the only one in the family with secrets!
The only person he is out to - a younger colleague, wants him to attend a queer party to see how the world has changed. After a lot of hesitation, Vishnu reluctantly agrees. At the party, just when he finally feels at home, a surprise awaits...

A graduate of the National Film School - the Film and Television Institute of India, Anindya is a filmmaker and photographer involved in all aspects of film technology and is especially keen on exploring the themes of culture and ecology, believing that both go hand in hand.
He has worked as a trainer for students of schools and colleges, street hawkers and multinationals. He has shot and edited a number of documentaries, music videos, experimental and short films and is currently working on the script of a feature length film on LGBTQ cultural diversity in Kolkata as well as a play around the persecution of women in contemporary India in the name of practicing witchcraft.
