Director Statement

The important thing which leads me to make this film is its simplicity and innocence which is also the USP of the film. It is a simple story with simple incidents happens with a 9 years old poor boy in a span of few hours, who desires to eat something delicious after returning from school. The film is shot on real world location on digital format. It is a children film in complete sense as all the lead characters in the film are played by the children except two supporting characters of mother and junk dealer which were played by adults. There are few scenes in film which were hard to shot and took lots of patience and retakes to get a final shot as our talent have to act in coordination with animals but overall all actors have acted very well in the film, there is a scene in the film where one of the character have to cry a aloud and calls his elder brother to help him when the protagonist snatches fruit cake from his hands and runs away, the intense of crying of the boy was so powerful and real that it gave me goose bumps while shooting of the scene. I am happy with the overall outcome of the film and my actor’s performance and I am sure the film will win audience hearts with their stunning performances.
