Loretta Paraguassu biography
Loretta Parguassu has been a journalist for major publications including the Los Angeles Times. She scripted an award winning documentary for PBS Hawaii and wrote a musical version of Princess and the Pea that was produced in L.A. to rave reviews. She has since scripted "Nailed," a short that got international exposure. "Color, Curves and Motion" is another short that she produced. It is an experimental film that combines art, dance and music and has been shown in a number of galleries with her paintings. Paraguassu has two sons, Andre and Robert, both of them very involved in the arts.
Loretta Paraguassu and Nick Hunter III decided to film the story "A STREETCAR NAMED STELLA" in an improvisational Robert Altman style but pushing this further whereas a crew of two, with only Nick Hunter the III's improvisational dialogue as the Actor recorded for the film, but we both worked as directors, writers, and camera operators. This resulted in the best of both of us coming through to make this Film Stella come to life.
