Since the age of 15, Arturs has been exploring the world of filmmaking. Starting as a runner and camera operator for Television channel "Chaula.TV", Arturs found his own independent production company "Imago Studios Latvia" in 2011 where he and his like-minded fellows gather and work on event recaps, concert videos and commercials even for the recognised companies in Latvia. After graduating the secondary school in Latvia, Arturs continues to develop his skill-set in filmmaking as a film student at the University for the Creative Arts Farnham.
During the first year in the University for the Creative Arts, he worked as a cinematographer on two films: short documentary "Arvids" & short fiction "Blinders", which was shot in 16mm film with Bolex camera and edited on Steenbeck.
In 2016 Arturs participated in 11th International Student Film Camp "Interaction" in Serbia. Given only one week to make a short film, he and his crew made a short documentary "Ruins" that shows how the residents and government of a small city in Serbia contradict each other while discussing the forgotten Roman Bath ruins in the middle of the city.
