Director Biography - Katarzyna Lesisz, Nadim Suleiman

Katarzyna Lesisz – born in 1985, in Warsaw. Graduated from Applied Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw in 2012.

She is currently a 4th year student of film directing at the National Film School in Łódź, working on her diploma film.

Her documentary debut “My brother’s life”, on which she acted both as a director and cinematographer, has been screened at last year’s Short Film Corner at Cannes Film Festival. Local audiences have also had a chance to watch it at such film events as Prowinjonalia, Off Cinema, Koszalin Młodzi I Film.

Her latest movie “Our little game” won Best Picture Award at 13th Student Film Festival “Łodzią Po Wiśle” 2015.
