#NoDAPL Drones Monitor North Dakota Police

The fight against the 1,170-mile Dakota Access pipeline in North Dakota is happening on the ground, in the water and in the sky. The drone operators of the #NoDAPL camp fly their drones above pipeline construction sites and law enforcement to inform protestors of activity in areas they cannot otherwise see. Shiyé Bidzííl and Myron Dewey view their role as part surveillance, part documentation and part protection. They risk getting their drones shot down and Myron is now facing charges for "stalking."
