PHOTORECEPTOR
PHOTORECEPTOR is a visual poem dedicated to the way we should see and interact with the world around us. It is shot entirely in Upstate New York around and within locations where the filmmaker grew up. The first shot of this extensive project, which to took over 5 years, was captured in 2011, and the final shot in 2016. The final edit was finished in January of 2017.

Jeffrey is a Media Communications teacher at The Institute of Technology at Syracuse Central (Syracuse City School District) where he teaches classes in Videography, Photography, and Design. He is a graduate of SUNY Oswego with a bachelor's degree (2012) in Broadcasting and Cinema and Screen Studies and a master's degree (2013) in Graphic Design.
I'm an artist who sees the world a little differently and I believe that any form of art can be made beautiful no matter how much money you have or what kind of technologies are available to you.
