Judith Heumann: Disability Rights Pioneer

Samuel Habib, 16, made this 18-minute documentary about disability rights hero Judith Heumann for a school project. Heumann is an internationally recognized leader in the disability community and a lifelong civil rights advocate for disadvantaged people. She served under President Obama as the Special Advisor for International Disability Rights at the U.S. Department of State. Samuel Habib is an 11th grade student at Concord (NH) High School and an aspiring multi-media story teller. Habib has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair and speech communication device.

Director Biography - Samuel Habib

Samuel Habib is an 11th grade student at Concord (NH) High
School and an aspiring multi-media story teller. Habib has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair and speech communication device. He was featured in the 2008 film, "Including Samuel," directed by his father Dan Habib.

I made this movie for my final history and english project on the American Dream and the Disability Rights movement.
