Rahaee

The Short film is a fictious book with the character Jagat who's life reveals around a mysterious truth. A truth in which Jagat and his wife Anju finds their happiness, there Rahaee all over the film. Jagat is Rajasthani puppeteer who does his puppet shows in fair held anywhere in India.
The Film is based on three days of the fair held at anonymous place where Jagat has set his Puppet show for three days. Beside, Short Film has tried to focus on the emotional situations and the struggle for the life of the peddlers who travel along the fair. The short film also highlights that the happiness is not something you get or buy but is something that person find in which may be living or non-living.
Jagat tries to entertain the audience in the film through puppets and his story which in turns relates his life events. In these three days of fair shown in the film Jagat plays a single story of the King ‘Chittaranjan’and his happy kingdom ‘Chittanagar’. The King marries a princess ‘Ratan’ and then a story gets into exciting climax which ends on the third and final day of the fair.
Jagat with his poor and struggling life try to keep himself as well as his wife happy and also help his audience to find there Rahaee(happiness) of life from his stories in the shows.
