Director Biography - Rhett Kind

Rhett Kind is a beginning filmmaker, stand-up comedian, and social media comic.
His main job is personal training and basketball coaching. Rhett Kind moved to Dallas, TX in 2013 to pursue basketball. He first began comedy around the start of 2014 on YouTube. Comedy was off and on for him until 2015, when he became more serious about pursuing a comedy/acting career. In November 2015 he started standup, and in August 2015 he decided to create his very own film. Rhett wrote, produced, directed, casted, and played the main character in the film “Get Money”, which is currently being submitted into film festivals.

Director Statement

I came into this film as a novice and had no idea about filming , casting, or directing film at all but i wanted to get this message across
To many young people are caught up in material things and what people think they should be and end up going down the wrong path and this film is a raw visual of how most people are living
I believe that this film will be an eye opener for a lot of people
i loved making this film and it was most definaly an experience because i dove in head fist not knowing what i was doing but i really believe this is a great film
