Director Biography - Blair Avery

Blair Avery is an activist and filmmaker from Los Angeles, California. He began his career in film at the age of 18, working in various positions on television and feature film sets to gain knowledge and experience. At the age of 20 he made his directional debut with Perfect Nothings, a seven part series he also wrote and produced. In November of 2016 he created Insurgency Now, a documentary project to shed light on current events that pertain to environmental activism and civil rights. He traveled to Standing Rock and plans to cover this years presidential Inauguration.
