"Down and Yonder" is a story about two friends having a belated coming-of-age in their mid-twenties. When one of them becomes convinced to move away, they both begin to examine their futures. The film is about a friendship that becomes tested by time and distance, and it is ultimately a love letter to growing up in a small, Southern town.

Director Biography - Christopher Flippo

Christopher grew up in Rossville, Ga. From an early age, he had a passion for storytelling and filmmaking. Christopher graduated in 2008 from the University of Georgia with a degree in mass media arts. He has directed several shorts and is proud to have his first feature completed.

"Down and Yonder" is a passion project that serves as a reflection of our experience growing up in a small Southern town. It's a celebration of friendship as well as an examination of how that friendship is tested over time. We're extremely proud of this feature and are eager to share it with the film community.
