STAND OUT
What's popular among today's youth? Standing out. It's not just about being different in your hobbies and artwork, but also standing out in your appearance and the way you dress. It's a way for us to identify with our own selves, learn about ourselves, our culture, and gender. What's not okay is for someone to take the right to your personal appearance away, here's why.

At the young age of sixteen, Jillian Towson has only just begun her career as a filmmaker. Jillian attends Duke Ellington School of the Arts and is studying Film, Photography, and many different forms of writing. She has created a total of two documentaries in the past two years. Both documentaries focus on the empowerment of young people, and mainly young women. The films that she creates are meant to motivate teenagers, more specifically young women, on their journey through life and finding out who they are in our world. Jillian's films motivate, inspire, and educate.
I create films for the people I know and love, for the women that inspire me to make the changes needed in this world.
