Director Statement

I always thought I am a “Jack of all Trades, Master of None.” But one day a friend of mine corrected me that it was a negative comment of myself, that I should see myself as a “Polymath”, a person who have the passion of learning a lot of things.

Ever since I was a child, I always had this soft-heart towards people who are helpless, who has no one to turn to. The feeling of being abandon and lost was implacable. It took me years to find out what exactly I wanted to do with my life, or what is my purpose here. There were many dreams and goals that I wanted to achieved, but then I realize I am indeed a polymath in the base of Multimedia & Arts.

Through the years of my creativity and experience working with companies and individuals. I have found my own advocacy by helping others. Others who have lost their passion from being distracted of everyday needs. Every time I met someone I always asked them “What is your dream”. Every time they answered what dream they want to achieve, I always witness this certain emotion from them, the excitement in their eyes, how energy they were, and how they get carried away with their own passion explaining what they wanted to be. However, it always ends up with “it used to be my dream, but I choose this life because I need to.” Or “I have no choice”.

I always believe that everything is a choice. It saddens me to hear that most people I met never consider trying to chase their dreams or passion in their life. When Multimedia arts courses was introduced, I was exposed with different fields of arts. I was overflowing with passion from what I have learned, Since I breathe and live with arts, I decided to establish an organization and ARC Kerr Productions. This has given me a purpose to help other people who are lost and passionate to learn and wants to be evolved with Multimedia Arts industry.

However, it was challenging for me to focus and which skills I should emphasis on. Film was my first choice, however, organizing events were my most passionate endeavors of all.

This is where I witness that everyone is working together as a family, for me, working as a team and having a successful event and being part of a family is my personal reward and fulfilling event of my life. Thus, this reason and reward feeling made me decided to establish ARC Kerr Production.
