In 2016 Livia Perneel graduated from Audiovisual Arts with a Master in Film Directing at Ritcs School of Arts in Brussels. At her age of 23, she is currently living in the capital of Belgium, Brussels.
Born at the seaside of the country, she wants to give a fresh breeze to cinema.
With an intimate and poetic way for storytelling, she intends to illuminate truthful subjects that are closer to the majority, but that do not receive the awareness they deserve.
One of her key inspirations is to explore the world in order to find simultaneous experiences in different cultures and divergent contexts. Immersing herself into foreign languages such as English, French and Spanish gives her a clear insight into new cultures and other life perspectives.
