Free Food
"Free Food is a challenge to watch. What makes it work is the cinematography, odd audio/script, and unusual pacing in an incongruously idyllic setting. The makeup is also noteworthy. It's on the theatre of the absurd/cruelty side with a peculiarly zen-like flavor." - Beth Regardz, Department Chair, Cabrillo College Digital Media Department

I've been a filmmaker since the days of Super-8. I graduated from USC Cinematic Arts when it was still called the School of Cinema-Television, and I've worked on independent films both in and out of Hollywood. I'm a co-producer and -editor of the 6th Extinction documentary "Call of Life," and I shoot social research videos to keep myself housed. I live in Santa Cruz County, California.
Why does it seem as though everything comes at such a painful cost? In this abundant world, in this rich country, where the word on the street is that you can have anything you want, why do we have to submit to humiliation and abuse for the promise to come through? Surely there is a way to play this game right.
