The Lesson

The Story begins with the school kids get punished because of their incomplete homework and they decides to beat a fellow classmate who happens to be a Muslim. It becomes stimulus for 'Advait'(the young protagonist) & he starts thinking about the Muslims around him. Later he gets attracted by the predominant colors like red & green relating it to the Hindus & Muslims. He come across few daily incidents which he observes now that makes him rethink about his perception for Muslims. By keeping cultural diversity & King Shivaji's thoughts at the center, the short film unfolds the shades of Humanity, Unity, Friendship & Innocence through the vision of a 10 years old kid.

# 14 years of strong experience in Marathi / Hindi theatre as an Actor, Director, Script writer for various plays, ekankika, full length dramas, shortfilms etc and won prizes for state level play writing competition.

# Acted in & Directed play in urdu/hindi- "Ek Ruka Hua Faisla" originally from a greek theatre in feb 2016

# Rajya Natya Spardha 2014 Winner with 7 awards for Marathi Natak "Raanbhairee"

# Gold Medalist Actor in "Global Cultural Olympiad of Performing Arts" shortplay competition held @ Kilachand Theatre, Mall of Emirates, Dubai - in Dec 2013.

# Played a lead role in William Shakespeare's play - "Titus Andronicus" directed by Mr. Prasad Vanarase from National School of Drama.

# Completed Film Appreciation course from NFAI, Pune.
