Director Biography - Seth Klaudt

Seth Klaudt was born in the U.S and grew up in Los Mochis, Mexico. From an early age he has been passionate about cinema as an art form, watching it as much as emulating it. At 17 he returned to the U.S. to study and obtain an Associate's Degree of Arts at South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia, Washington. Afterwards he lived in the city of Guadalajara for a year; he studied a college-level course on Art Direction and several other classes at the Centro Universitario de Medios Audiovisuales. He currently resides in Los Mochis where he focuses on making short films alongside a group of young filmmakers who share the same passion. He cites Guillermo del Toro, Hayao Miyazaki, Martin Scorcese, Andrei Tarkovsky, Christopher Nolan, Billy Wilder, Yuri Norstein and Frank Capra as his main influences. Land of Milk and Honey is his student short film.
