Snowblind
After carrying out a hit for a mysterious drug kingpin, Johnny Jones, a small time cocaine dealer, tries to convince his partner, Mitch, that they must upgrade their business, but is met with resistance. Tension mounts between the two men, as Johnny begins to suspect that Mitch may not be as trustworthy as he seems. Two months later, Mitch and Johnny’s relationship has weekend and Johnny’s cocaine use and paranoia have grown. Although Mitch wants out of the business, Johnny pleads with him to stay onboard for one more drop the following day. The next morning the two men arrive at the location of the drug deal before Johnny pulls out his gun in attempts to shoot Mitch. A shot goes off but it is Mitch who has shot Jonny, taking the cocaine and leaving him dead on the ground.

A senior film student at Ithaca College, Max has worked on various short films including “Messengers,” “The Freeway,” and his directorial debut “Fishbowl.” Having worked with both cinematographer, Gavin Keenan, and sound designer, Riley Irving, on Fishbowl, Max decided to collaborate with them again on his newest film Snowblind, which the three also co-produced.
