Director Biography - Anna Sullivan

Anna Sullivan is the artistic director and choreographer of the multimedia dance theater project, Anna and The Annadroids. Sullivan is originally from Columbus, Ohio and received a BFA from Ohio University. Between 2005 and 2011 Anna produced eleven evening length dance concerts, created work for countless special events, had her work presented at the New York International Fringe Festival three times, received multiple project grants from the Greater Columbus Arts Council and Ohio Arts Council, and in 2008 received the GCAC Artistic Excellence Award of $10,000 for her production, Clone Zone.

In 2011 Anna relocated to San Francisco where she fully submerged herself into the local dance scene and and received local support through The Zellerbach Foundation, Phyllis Wattis Foundation, ODC and The Fleishhacker Foundation, and Theater Bay Area CA$H Grants for her productions, Clone Zone, Dull Face, and Man(u)fractured.

In 2017 she will be presenting her evening length dance and aerial concert, Faux(pas)bia, along with releasing the album and graphic novel of the show
