I’m Hailey and aside from film I really, really, REALLY like mac n cheese. I also have never taken a serious photo in my life. I could describe myself as dichotomous being both silly and serious and still trying to find a balance of the two, but I think these personality traits are what developed my love of learning and understanding – that which drives me to always be creating.
I’ve had my finger in every film pie I can find: Assistant Camera, Production design, Art assist, D.O.P, Producing, Assistant Director, Screenwriting/Story editing and now here I am, Directing. I’m incredibly excited to be directing A Silent Key.
I think it’s a story in which everyone has experienced on some level, and that makes it easy to connect to. Everyone wants connection, and everyone gets a little funny when left alone.
In saying that, just as this film will have a piece of me in it; it will have a piece of everyone. And my goal is to get our audience to find that humbling relation.
