Director Biography - Terri Bea-Sopher

Pastor Terri Bea- Sopher is the Founder and President of Streets of Gold Productions taken from Revelations 21:21. She is an award winning writer of stage plays, movies, music videos and books with over 16 years of ministry experience. She recently won Best Screenplay from the Urban Mediamakers Film Festival for her newest film, "The Unfortunate Faces of Portia Dupree". She was won awards for many of her films and recently received a nomination for the screenplay, "Enemy Witnesses" and a contemporary praise and worship song entitled "God's Love Letter" at the Christian Festival in Detroit. She has traveled with many of her stage plays and will currently film her first comedy gospel stage production, Sister Able's Closet." The list of accomplishments in film, stage and music are numerous, but her greatest joy is any opportunity she receives to minister from churches and ministers across many states. She's even spoken at diversity conferences being the sole religious representation.

Terri L. Bea was nominated for a Stellar award in 2012 and received a Black Essence award in 2012 for music and production of her Gospel stage play, GRANDMA’S HANDS which was adapted to film in 2009 and won an award in the Los Angeles film festival in 2010. This film was also featured in the Kingdomwood Film Festival 2010 in Atlanta, GA.

In 2014 her film, Amberpark—The Beginning, won BEST FEATURE in OHIO in the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival and has been seen in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Texas, Florida, California and Pennsylvania. The film earned a spot in the International Christian Film Festival and Kingdomwood Film Festival in 2014 and won an HONORABLE MENTION in the festival.
