Taa-taa

Taa-taa is a short film by Ratnadeep Ray. It is a story of a lady, trying to forget her loneliness by showing her immense affection towards her pet parakeet when her husband goes to Iraq to work as a labor. She tries hard to contact her husband but, she can not. Through a radio news she gets to know that her husband is probably killed in terrorist-hit Iraq. She looses her mind and leaves home to find her husband on her own, carelessly keeping the bird cage open. After a while, she comes back and finds that the cage was empty. The parakeet was gone. In the end, she looses both the things she loved the most. And she becomes caged in her solitude.

Director Biography - Ratnadeep Ray

Ratnadeep Ray, a 22 years old boy, was a student of UG when he was made it. Taa-taa is the first film made by him on a shoestring budget.
