Director Biography

Brady Caverly is widely regarded as one of the most highly accomplished creators of direct-to-consumer television in the history of the industry and has written, produced and directed some of the most successful DRTV campaigns of the past 20 years.

Caverly has been writing and directing since 1985. Originally a commercial director and copywriter, in 1996 he joined National Media, the world's largest publicly traded long-form direct response television company, where he wrote, produced and directed some of the company's, and the country's, most successful long-form DRTV programs, eventually rising to the role of Creative Director, heading up all production and product development with his future partner Jeff Clifford.

In 2001, Caverly and Clifford formed C Squared TV/Alchemy Worldwide where they developed products and wrote, produced and directed long-form DRTV commercials for a series of successful wellness and homewares products, including The Magic Bullet personal blender which remains one of the most successful and longest running DRTV programs in the history of the industry. To date, Mr. Caverly has been instrumental in the creation of television campaigns that have grossed nearly $2 billion in direct-to-consumer sales. In 2013 Caverly, created and launched the first unit of an upscale restaurant and cocktail bar concept near his home called The Flintridge Proper.

Caverly has recently completed a 25-minute short film which he wrote and directed called Happy Hour, a concept he has since expanded into a one-hour Sci-Fi series for which he has written the pilot. He is currently in preproduction on a comedy/drama feature, which he has written and will direct, called Band Night, dramatizing one defining night in the lives of five 50-something best friends who get together to drink, talk, make music and together work through the crises that come with impending middle age. He also developing a one-hour Sci-Fi procedural, called Practical Magic.
