Born to Rewild

Follow ultra trekker, John Davis, on his 8 month journey as he hikes, bikes, and paddles 5000 miles from Mexico to Canada to bring awareness to the obstacles that wildlife faces as it tries to move from one area to another. His mission is to bring conservation groups, public land agencies, and private land owners together to create a continuous wildlife corridor across the spine of the continent.

Director Biography - Ed George, Bryan Reinhart

For 16 years Bryan Reinhart has been a film instructor in Sedona, Arizona. Reinhart teaches narrative and documentary filmmaking, as well as master seminars in editing. An active director, editor and documentarian, he finds it just as important to take the time to teach.

A native of Northwest Indiana, Reinhart was raised in a theatrical family and was on stage at the age of six. By the age of 13 he was making short films. He worked in the entertainment industry in a variety of positions including producer, director, and editor for both film and television.

Reinhart’s first Hollywood experience was producing a documentary on the feature film Hoosiers which led to an opportunity to work with the Coen Brothers on Raising Arizona. Reinhart went on to produce the nationally televised American Highways for Public Television. In the 1980’s, Reinhart started a television production company and produced corporate and industrial projects for Fortune 500 companies as well as documentaries. Several of his documentaries were aired nationally on public television. Classroom Under The Canopy, filmed in Costa Rica, was produced in cooperation with Indiana University and the Indianapolis Zoo. The Eyes of Nepal aired in Australia and the US. He went on to direct the features, Reality Check and the crowd funded documentary entitled “The Musical Man”. His current project is “Born to Rewild” a film that follows the 8 month and 5000 mile conservation trek by John Davis.
