Director Biography - Alberto Marchiori

Growing up in a small city in northern Italy he moved to Rome in 2001 to study as cinematographer and camera operator at Cinecittà.
After 15 years working in the camera departments of the most important Italian directors (Garrone, Vicari, Avati, Bellocchio) he started to work as a cinematographer throughout Italy and Brazil.
His latest project, "The Silence" (2016) by Ali Asgari was included in the Official competition Palm D'Or at Cannes Festival.
