Josh Collins graduated with a first class honors in theatrical design from Central St Martins school of Art and Design, London and promptly dived head first into the low budget B-Movie and night club world running RHB Exotic Entertainment.

With two previous features to his credit, the steam-punk sexy trash of 'Perv Parlor' and 'Pervirella', Josh has developed a distinctive story telling style of his own. Mixing animation with live action and adapting influences as diverse as 60s children’s TV to Fellini to produce a series of shorts, music videos and the two features out of a London warehouse which he shared with Toe Rag Recording Studios (White Stripes 'Elephant').

Experimenting with a variety of film mediums, super 8, standard 8, single 8, 16mmm, super16, 35mm bringing a heavy dose of pop art to the screen. On all his productions he is hands-on, overseeing and usually building the sets, models and props himself.

His films are often incorporated into extravagant live events and vice versa, including collaborations with acclaimed Australian artiste Leigh Bowery, legendary musicians Billy Childish, The Cramps, The Trashmen, The Mummies, The 5,6,7,8’s, The Monks and film impresario Ray Dennis Steckler.

More recently he created and run theme nitespots:The LuWOW (Melbourne), Devilles Pad & Hula Bula Bar (Perth). And has put on well over 1000 live music/cabaret/burlesque events since moving to Australia in 2002. This is raw exciting cinema, a sensory overload blasting straight out of the discotech.
