Grilled Peru
"Grilled Peru" invites you to take a closer look at what lays behind the most beloved dish of Perú. This short film bends the rules of social studies, environmental sustainability and cities, by merging all in one story, chicken. A Mockumentary written, filmed and edited in three weeks as part of the "The Other Documentary" course of DOCUPERU in Lima, Perú (2016).
This is a professional documentary production workshop that allows participants a theoretical and practical approach to documentary production. Our objective is to train future documentary filmmakers, producers and people interested in various aspects of the documentary genre in its use as a tool of personal, experiential, social or political expression, and to offer a broader, professional vision within an independent and alternative educational framework.

Environmental engineer from Cochabamba, Bolivia. During her time in Amsterdam on the Latin American Master program, she came up with the bizarre idea of bending the laws of social studies by combining cultural and natural resources in one topic, chicken. Her master thesis about the chicken phenomenon in Bolivia is adapted to the Peruvian case and becomes a basis for this short mockumentary.
