Thomas Thorpe was the Project Manager of NASA's highly successful Mars Global Surveyor Mission - a spacecraft that orbited Mars for nine years. In addition to managing Mars Missions dating back to Mariner 9, he has taught astronomy in Glendale College Extended Day for many years. Black Rose Writing has published seven historical mysteries in the Darmon Mystery series about a couple solving international crimes during the 1820 to 1860's (Amazon, Barnes & Noble). Three of these have been adapted into screenplays which have won awards and been finalists in a number of contests. Escape to Planet B346 is his first screenplay in the science fiction genre.
