El Niño Effect
While El Niño wreaked havoc on much of California, it created a winter playground for surfers of all types.
This documentary will showcase up-in-coming California bands and local surfers, charging the 2015-16 El Niño swells up and down the Golden State.
This is not a big-wave surf documentary, rather a surf film about everyday local surfers making the most of El Niño’s conditions, on shortboards, longboards, stand-up paddle boards, kite boards, body boards, rafts and even kayaks.
