Chronicles of Dimah - The Rise of maidens

Prince Kunsua of Dimah returns home to take his place beside his father, the King. He meets and falls in love with Amaeka, the brilliant and beautiful maiden. When she refuses his advances, the Queen goes ahead and makes sure that Amaeka is one of the maidens set for the choosing ceremony. Kunsua notices Amaeka among the maidens and chooses her to be his wife.
Sad and defeated, Amaeka explains to Kunsua that she refused him because she was is a virgin. That was why she refused his proposal in the first place. She tells him of the decree that a girl without virtue must not enter the Royal Family. She warns him of how he has doomed Dimah because of his mistake. Kunsua, unwilling to admit this, goes ahead and marries her.
His sin launches Dimah into a series of chaotic events that end in so many people’s deaths and cause strife to grow amongst the citizens of Dimah. In the midst of the chaos, Amaeka slips out of the palace and seeks refuge in the Mission House where she amasses followers and maidens in the kingdom. It all comes to a boiling point when Kunsua’s guards and Amaeka’s maidens must face off to determine who will rule and who will be cut down.
