The 8th Continent
This is a story of extreme opposites, of beauty and horror, and of our responsibility as humans to protect whats left our planet’s biodiversity.
Because of its incredible diversity and wide variety of endemic species, Madagascar is considered by some to be the world's 8th Continent.
The goal of this film is to bring awareness of the importance in preserving Madagascar’s unique biodiversity.
Over the past decade, Madagascar has suffered greatly from deforestation. The more sustainable tourism grows, the more pressure the Malagasy government will have to preserve its protected areas from illegal logging and deforestation.
