Director Biography

Irina Haugane is a visual artist from Trondheim, based in Oslo, Norway. Her videos and photographs illuminate situations or concretize thoughts in unfamiliar ways. Almost without exception, raw takes for her video work are unforeseen, capturing fleeting moments in time.

In 2014 one of her videos got selected to the National Art Exhibition in Oslo, as well as selected for the video group show Sequences – New Norwegian Video Art, exhibited at 30 different galleries across Norway. Irina has shown work at various galleries in Oslo, as well as contributed to recent exhibitions in Shanghai (CHN), Kofu (JPN) and at the Digital Art Bienniale. In 2015 she worked as an apprentice for Camille Norment on her grand exhibition Rapture in the Nordic Pavillion at the Venice Biennale.
