Director Biography - Adam Fynke

"Wait, that guy was the director? I thought he was someone's younger brother." -A statement made from a production assistant on set.
This baby faced director hails from the hoods of Detroit. Well, more like 15 minutes outside of Detroit in a city hailed to be the safest city in Michigan and the 19th safest city in the nation. A far cry from the mean streets of Detroit. But don't tell him we told you that.

He began his directorial career shooting hip hop videos in Detroit and along the way, has done everything from commercial to web to narrative to bar mitzvahs. Don't worry, you'll see him tearing up the Hollywood scene soon enough. Just not... ya know...right THIS instant.

Director Statement

I am going to be honest, I am struggling to find parallels in my life that contributed in making Neil Patrick and Harris. Obviously I’m not from Hollywood… I’m not a woman… Nor have I been conjoined or known anybody conjoined at any moment in my lifetime. So if anyone were to ask “What inspired you to direct this project?” My answer would be. “Couldn’t f***’n tell you, pal.”

The real story is I moved to Los Angeles a year and a half ago and got a gig as a production assistant on one of Kimberly Aboltin’s past web series. Over the span of the shoot, Kimberly and I exchanged enough stupid jokes that we eventually formed a close friendship. One web series, two shorts, and a formation of a full on production team later, we have Neil Patrick and Harris; The Chronicles Of Conjoined Triplets.

Obviously I cannot personally relate to three conjoined women but I gravitate to funny and the creators Kimberly, Hollie, and Shannon are just that. So coming together to make this project was a no brainer and was a totally awesome experience. I appreciated working with a cast that I could learn from and rely on to bring elements to their characters that I couldn’t have imagined myself. Also, when working with such an amazing crew; Deborah O’Neill, Lucas Miller, Angelus Bailey and Mark Ricketson, it makes the completion of the project that much sweeter. Neil Patrick and Harris; The Chronicles Of Conjoined Triplets was a joy to make. If everything goes to plan, then that joy should come across to the screen for audiences to enjoy
