She sets her suitcase down by her feet and smacks at the front of her dress. Dust rises from it. She walks to him, if she spoke she would say. Train leaves in an hour. But they have already said everything there is to say. He knows she has to leave, she knows she is breaking his heart.

He reaches to her and runs his hand down her cheek, smooths a stray curl behind her ear. She melts into his arms and they dance one last slow goodbye. They press together desperate for this last intimacy. At the end of the dance is one last kiss it is bittersweet. She has to go. She gathers her suitcase and leaves.

Part of a 9 segment series (see demo here: https://youtu.be/Z0UFTy0BGXw) made in collaboration with Sam Nuttmann of Motion State. This demo piece was beautiful, silent, moving and incredible to be the Director of. Samara Lerman the lead talent came to me with the project and a vision, in connection added the setting of Kells Irish Pub downtown Seattle. This was an Irish Folk tale in a dustbowl old setting. What an amazing feeling it was to go from start to finish and feel as though we were transcending to a different time and place with these two incredible people in love.
