Based on a true story, this short film introduces us to a young student, in the 70's Romania, that, having finally finished her semester, and with a fantastic performance, hurries anxiously to get back home, where her sick mother awaits her.

Director Biography - Mara Ungureanu

Born in Romania, in the city of Bucharest. At the age of 2 moved to Portugal. Between the ages of 5 and 15 she studied music, but her true passion, was always for fine arts. In college she undergraduated in Health stduies, fulfilling her parents’ wishes. Nevertheless her abillities were far more inclined to the arts and so finally she enrolled in an Animation Masters, where she could realize her childhood ambitions. Now, she finally feels like she belongs, and is ready to graduate and follow her path in the animation world.
