A memory that will be impressed in mind for many people which lived in this period. Fathers that are no more leave to their sons memory’s treasure. Carlotta Bolognini grew up in a wonderful family where cinema was art breathed at home. Nostalgic of the old cinema decides to see old friends , through an invitation to dinner. All sons of art, with various parents which spent the most lighthearted and funniest years of their lives: childhood and adolescence. Carlotta's father Manolo is with them, seated at a table of an ancient castle. Through memories, stories, movies , photos and historical documents, our protagonists evoke the beloved Italian cinema. A journey into the past to relive the nostalgic 50 years of Italian film history .

Alfredo Lo Piero - Director
Born in Catania. Motivated by a strong passion for art in its various expressions, he moves to Rome for many workshop with personalities of Italian cinema and theatre. His longeve collaboration with producer and RAI documentary director Gianfranco Bernabei refines his love for the seventh art. In 2005 he receives various awards and achievements with the play Benedetta Provvidenza, written with Gianfranco Bernabei; loosely based on the behind the scenes of the movie La terra trema directed by Luchino Visconti, this play receives critical praise and audience, also from former President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano. Since 2006 he directs in Catania the artistic and cultural center A.I. Centro Studi Laboratorio d'Arte founded by Lo Piero himself . In the same year he found directs film school Scuola di Cinema a Catania, where renowned professionals from Italian and international cinema collaborated. Music composer Stelvio Cipriani, actors Giancarlo Giannini, Elio Pandolfi, Carlo Giuffre, filmmakers Lina Wertmuller, Dario Argento, Giovanni Veronesi, Sergio Martino, Luigi Perelli, are just few of the names and they continue to collaborate at his school. In 2015 directs and co-produces the documentary film Sons of the Set, also writing subject and screenplay with Carlotta Bolognini in co-production with B.M.C. company by Carlotta Bolognini. Currently Alfredo Lo Piero is producing and directing a movie loosely inspired by the great music composer Vincenzo Bellini: Bellini, il Mistero di Puteaux . An international project that will feature a prestigious artistic and technical cast and collaboration from international studios.
