The traditionalism of the butterfly as the symbol for love is evoked and then refracted through the lens of neo-aesthetics, intensifying its emotional impact on the audience. She hides the butterfly in the box and closes the lid of the trunk hiding her short-lived fantasy into the fathomless bottom of emotions, secured with a key, to be or not to be opened after a very long time.
