No Chance of Survival
Ron DeVera, the beloved Sonoma county barber in a small coastal northern California town, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2005.
He was given no chance of survival. But he did using the healing power of his mind and excellent medical treatments. This is his story.
This is my first documentary film.

I retired in 2014 and moved to a small northern California town called The Sea Ranch. Ok, so now I have time to do the things I have always wanted to do. Heading my list was making documentary films.
The Canon C100 Mark II had the cinematic quality that rocked me and a price that was reasonable. Check. Watched hundreds of hours of online tutorials and documentary films. Pressed all the buttons on my camera and convinced myself that I was ready to be a filmmaker.
Ron cuts my hair. I asked if he would like to be in my first documentary film. He said YES!
Here it is. I hope you enjoy it.
I am still learning what all the buttons do and how to set levels. Love this stuff. For my first doc, I think it came out OK. Planning many more.
