All Are Welcome Here
On April 5th, 2016, the Governor of Mississippi approved House Bill 1523, the “Protecting freedom of conscience from government discrimination act." The law allows people to cite religion as cause to deny or refuse services to LGBTQ persons. The documentary follows the reaction of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, including the first ever gay rights demonstrations on the coast, and a show of support from local businesses in the form of signs reading "All Are Welcome Here."
