WHO DOES THIS??!!
I would suppose that one way to gauge how far you have come after a personal tragedy would be your ability to laugh about it. In June, 2013, I moved to Arizona after an extremely traumatic encounter with a con man who also happened to be a sociopath. Enduring horrific loss, both financially and emotionally, I managed to turn the misfortune into the best thing that happened to me. The purpose for this video is to share a little of my story with a humorous bent in the hopes of generating interest and support to help me find some justice. The police and the FBI were involved but the case was dismissed. This predator is still on the loose and something must be done to stop him. I pray that this video brings a smile to your face while speaking to your heart.
I made a film named, "The Ultimate No-Show," with the whole story which was in reality, my therapy. I submitted it to several film festivals and it received an “Official Selection Award” by the Milwaukee Women’s Film Festival, 2016 and an “Honorable Mention” by The Indie Gathering International Film Festival, Cleveland, Ohio, 2016. It was also accepted as part of the lineup in the IPhone Film Festival in LA, California, 2016 and the Great Lakes International Film Festival, 2016.

I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. My background includes the service industry, including owning my own restaurant, sales, youth ministry, and now real estate. Getting mixed up with the con man was the worst/best experience of my life. It resulted in my moving to Phoenix, Arizona, and fixing the broken places inside which have caused me to flourish. I have resurrected my love of writing, acting, and music and I couldn't be happier.
I had a horrible experience with a con man a few years ago. I was totally devastated and thought that I would never heal from what happened. This curse has turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. I was forced to look inside and deal with my demons. I have healed from it and grown into the woman that I always wanted to be. Part of my healing involved making a film, chronicling the events. I'm endeavoring to get my story out there with the hopes that someone will want to do something substantial with it which will help me pursue justice against this man.
