Chill and Shivering
The protagonist is a typical young introvert who does not venture outdoors, lives in his own world, and is obsessed with computers, models and dolls. He occupies an old rented flat. One night, a mysterious thing happens. He is unaware that the dwelling was formerly a shop providing traditional Chinese herbal medical service, and that his environment has become supernatural. The experience turns out to be a life-changing one.

We created this animation wishing to share with our audience various "good value systems in life". I am happy as more and more people watch and appreciate our ten-minute work.
The central theme of this animation is "communicate with people around us", especially those around us whom we love and those who love us. If our work could lead to somebody communicating a little more with his or her loved ones, thereby bringing about a little more happiness and appreciation, and a little less sadness and regrets, I would be a satisfied man.
At the award ceremony in Tokyo (DigiCon6), we said as part of our acceptance speech, "We now live in a colder, more difficult time. Relationships between our younger generation and their parents and grandparents are markedly different from what people experienced in earlier eras. We wanted to make this animated short movie in the hope of using a medium many young people like to send a message: 'let us communicate' ! Let us communicate properly with our parents, with the older generations, and indeed with ourselves. Sincere communication will give us a chance to make a better world."
