Director Statement

"HER cafe" is about the real life experience I had while working at cafe in Chicago while I was in college. Many people have worked in the service industry at some point of their lives, so I wanted to create a body of work that I knew people could relate to and laugh at how crazy their experience was. I like to believe the issues that the cast face in "HER cafe" are universal for the service industry. Though working in the industry was hard, it allowed me to create something that I am extremely proud of, a body of work that I hope many people can watch, enjoy and laugh at. I'm excited to begin filming of season 2 and this experience has certainly inspired me to write more original projects. Stay tuned because there is a lot more to come.
