De que Van... Van
On December 4th of 2012, the Children's Theatre Company La Colmenita performed a concert that paid tribute to Juan Formell and los Van Van, with original songs from the orchestra. This documentary starts with this show from the theatre company and includes Van Van’s work, focusing on their legacy and continuity of the Cuban music.

Héctor Rosales graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree specializing in Direction of Photography at the University of the Arts in Cuba, he also majored in Acting at the National Cuban School of Arts. He has directed two fiction short films, “Ella” and “Fe”. The latter being awarded at both the Almacén de la Imagen and the Imago festivals. He has also directed several music videos from the following Cuban bands: Harold Lopez-Nussa, Vocal Sampling, Dejavu and Yissy y Bandancha. He has directed the following documentaries: Ensayo sobre lo fluído and De que Van… Van. He currently works as a Director of Photography in several documentaries and short fiction films, such as: Batería directed by Damián Sainz and Con sana alegría directed by Claudia Muñiz.
