The Uni-Saders
The Uni-Saders is a film about a community that embraced the unicycle as the ultimate childhood development tool. Second grade teacher, Jimmy Agnew, and his team of one-wheelers have inspired communities throughout Texas, Colorado, and North Carolina to grow physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally through unicycling. To support the growth of the movement a non profit organization called One Wheel Many Children was established. As a result of the Uni-Saders and their play based service leaning model, communities are beginning to infuse unicycling into their school curriculums to guide children towards a growth-mindset. Our goal is to help schools and communities create a more balanced approach towards educating the entire child.

I am a 37 year old filmmaker and photographer who works for himself doing what he loves everyday. I am the oldest of four, as well as the strongest, fastest and least intelligent. I have one brother and two sisters that I love very much. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1994 during high school. I spent my entire childhood playing sports year-round starting at the age of four. It wasn’t until my college years at the University of North Florida that I developed a love for filmmaking and photography. It was also in college that my friend Joe led me to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I believe that God gives us each different talents and for me it’s filmmaking and photography. Along with this comes a responsibility to serve my clients by using my talents to the best of my ability. It’s difficult to put it all into words, but that’s what I love so much about my craft. It allows me to express myself and connect with other people in a way that would otherwise be impossible.
