Split End

A Long Island, New York native, Rob Lucchesi is a lifelong artist and trained musician. He worked as an independent music producer for several years. Rob also worked as an associate producer for a video production company, producing short documentaries and music videos. Rob’s interested in horror films started as a child. “I remember being 5-years old at my grandmother’s house, watching the Hammer production of 'Dracula has Risen from the Grave.' I was peering from behind her large chair, unable to tear myself away, though frightened to death. From that point on, I was hooked on horror films.” Rob's first shorts were filmed during a 4-week filmmaking course that he took at New York Film Academy in November 2013. There he wrote, directed, edited and scored three shorts, "Elee," "Sweets," and "Instant Karma." In 2016 he finished his first short film "Split End" for festival submissions.
