Amreen 's first stint as a director was a short-documentary called "Mehendi -Wala" (The Henna Man) that revolved around a 16 year old boy who applies henna for a living. Set in the streets of India Mehendi wala was acclaimed and was taken to various festivals in Toronto.
Since she has been dabbling her experience with various other short films, feature films, and also in commercials internationally.
