I don’t miss the way
I don’t miss they way
The house shook when you walked, oh
The place took to your mood, honey
Oh Honey , oh honey
I don’t miss the way
you throw your money around
but I wish in vain to now so poor
Call you honey
Sunrise, Sunset
I want to spend with you
Honey, take care
I wanted to spend with you
Mistress in Red I knew from the way She said your name
Your Mistress she fled I knew from the way You stayed
Honey, Oh Honey
Well, I admit I miss the summer on your skin
but the seasons change, it gets so cold Honey
So cold
Sunrise, Sunset
I want to spend with you
Honey, take care
I wanted to spend with you
Oh you were never so sweet
As the honey I now know
Oh, you were NEVER so sweet
As the honey I now know

MAKS The Fox is an orchestral folk pop band from Chicago, IL. This creative collective features a unique combination of guitars, keyboard, viola, cello, bass, and drums. They break away from a more traditional setup and provide their audience with a diverse textural auditory experience. Singer songwriters Kori Simonson (vocals, guitar, keys) and Marlon Aguilar (vocals, guitar) started as a duo in 2012, and it has gradually grown to include members Sarah Cornish (viola, backup vocals), Rachel Schuldt (cello, bass, backup vocals) and Jacob Fawcett (drums, backup vocals)
Kori & Marlon starting recording songs with Dan Duszynkski (of Gold Motel, Any Kind, & Cross Records) and completed a debut album in 2013 with him. The band began writing more collaboratively on album #2 and continued to try out the new songs to crowds around Chicago & surrounding cities. (Lincoln Hall, Martyrs, The Whistler, Uncommon Ground, Jerry’s, Rozz Tox, Quenchers, 20+ shows… full list here)
