Elizabeth Russell is an Alabama native, currently living in Prague, Czech Republic. Her exhibitions in the U.S. and Prague have included video installations, photography, painting, collage, performance and more recently, stop-animation which have all been informed by her training as a painter. Her work has been shown in private galleries and public museums and is included in many private collections as well as the 2016 Sidewalk Film Festival.
My approach, in every medium, is an attempt to make sense of my own inner chaos as well as that which I see in the world around me and finally to transform it into poetry.
