Nostalgia
Thomas, a man in his thirties who is in in charge of an empty land deep in the plains, with his infant son Albert, buries his wife after her sudden death.
It's the first night alone for Thomas. He sits in the yard of their house to get drunk and cry.
On the next morning he is awakened by Albert and his hunger cries. With the confusion of novelty, the father uses his instincts to take care of his child.
But sadness lurks in the loneliness of their home. One night, Thomas falls asleep to avoid it. Another, he begins drinking.
Choking with his feelings, with alcohol and anxiety in his body, he decides he wants to be with his wife.
